Is Metacenter affiliated with Stacks, Hiro or any protocol?

No. It is an independent open-source project (MIT). Forum quotes on the site are context, not endorsements.

Why are some headline figures "mirrored"?

They come from the latest distribution's events. When pox5-reader is available on mainnet, the dashboard uses its onchain figures instead.

Why does the testnet feed show mainnet numbers?

Testnet has almost no bond stake. The testnet risk-feed mirrors mainnet distributions, with every raw input stored so anyone can recompute them.

Can the reserve cover a shortfall?

Not under the current contract. See Reserve & hypothetical cover.

Who is short-paid first?

The last bond in the payout order. See Bond payout order.

How often is the data updated?

The indexer polls every ~10 minutes. Distributions happen once per 1,050 Bitcoin blocks.
